We read that tension is boiling in the Apapa/Iganmu Federal Constituency of Lagos, and it is in connection to the nomination process of the All Progressives Congress (APC)

Things reportedly came to a head when the chairman of the party locked one aspirant out of the party secretariat. Dr. Adesola Adedayo was locked out and his declaration was stopped.

Party chairman, Alhaji Morufu Gbadamsi Ojora, reportedly locked out Adedayo and his supporters and went away with the keys. 

Members in the coundil wards have sent a petition to Tinubu, National APC leader.

There hasn't been much to report about Ibrahim Mantu (at least, not politically) since his electoral defeat in 2007, where he contested for the senatorial seat of Plateau Central.

In an interview with Nigerian Tribune, he speaks on his plan to return to the National Assembly, and also sheds light on the (in)famous Third Term bid of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Former military chiefs have asked Jonathan to declare a total war on Boko Haram. This sentiment is also echoed by Nigerian-born U.S. Army Captain, Sunday Adebomi, who has said 'gentility' is no way to combat the Boko Haram crises.
