The comedian has struggled at the box office in recent years, but by revisiting one of his most beloved comedies two decades after it hit screens, Carrey has scored his biggest hits in years with “Dumb and Dumber To.” The cinematic adventures of a pair of dim bulbs shone brightly at the box office this weekend, picking up an estimated $38 million across 3,154 locations.

An investigative judge in Argentina is summoning Justin Bieber for questioning.
Bieber has been accused of sending bodyguards to attack a photographer outside a Buenos Aires nightclub during a South American tour last year.
Judge Facundo Cubas asked Interpol on Thursday to use all "necessary means" to notify the singer that he has 60 days to appear before the court in Argentina. The judge says that if Bieber fails to comply, an international arrest order will be issued.
Argentine photographer Diego Pesoa alleges he was chased down and beaten on Nov. 9, 2013, by Bieber's bodyguards outside the INK nightclub, where the singer and his entourage partied.
Bieber would face up to one year in prison if he was convicted on a charge of causing minor injuries.

Diem Brown, who rose to fame as a competitor on MTV’s “The Challenge” series and later became an entertainment reporter, has died after a long battle with cancer. She was 32.
Brown first appeared on MTV as a contestant in the network’s 2006 reality show “Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Fresh Meat.” She went on to compete on several additional installments of “The Challenge” series.
In August 2014, during her eighth “Challenge” for MTV, Brown collapsed during filming and she later revealed she had been diagnosed with colon cancer. She worked as a blogger forPeople magazine as she received cancer treatments.

NEW YORK –  Bill Cosby's upcoming appearance on CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman" has been canceled amid a growing uproar over allegations that he sexually assaulted several women in past decades.
Cosby representative David Brokaw confirmed Friday night that Cosby would not appear as previously scheduled next Wednesday. He did not say why. A "Late Show" representative could not be reached for comment.
Another canceled booking, on "The Queen Latifah Show" on Oct. 30, was characterized by that show as a postponement granted at Cosby's request.
