Chief John Oyegun, National chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC on Saturday said that 2015 was God's appointed time for the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to lose the presidential election. 

According to THIS DAY, speaking in Ifaki Ekiti in Ido/Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti State during the 60th birthday of the former governor Segun Oni, Oyegun said, "APC is a party whose time has come. APC is a party with welfarist and people-oriented programmes. 

"But let me say here that youth employment will be priority on our agenda, apart from the fact that we will do everything possible to protect the lives of the Nigerian citizens. Whatever that will take us to end insurgency, we are going to do it; we are not going to steal public money the way the PDP is doing.”

Joe DiMaggio's love letter to Marilyn Monroe has sold for $78,125 at a Beverly Hills auction.
Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills says the letter, written by the baseball great after Monroe announced she was divorcing him, was sold Saturday to an undisclosed buyer.
The letter during their brief, volatile marriage was among 300 items, dubbed "Marilyn Monroe's Lost Archives," that went on the block.
A handwritten letter from Monroe to her third and final husband, playwright Arthur Miller, sold for $43,750.
Monroe, who died of a drug overdose at age 36 in 1962, willed the collection of letters to her mentor, the legendary acting coach Lee Strasberg.

Strong indications have emerged that governors elected on the platform of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) are poised for a showdown with the national chairman of the party, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu and Senate President David Mark over the collapse of the deal President Goodluck Jonathan had sealed with them a month ago.

To express their grievances, the governors are expected to meet with President Jonathan on Tuesday night ostensibly to extract “some commitment from him” before his ratification during the December 10 national convention of the party.

Jenna Bush Hager, the daughter of former President George W. Bush fessed up to some "hanky panky" while living in the White House on a late show.

During a visit on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live,” a viewer called in to ask the former First Daughter if she had ever “fooled around” when she lived at the White House.

“I was 19 years old when my dad became president,” she replied, adding that at the time she was dating her future husband Henry Hager.

“Maybe there was a little hanky panky," she confessed. “There was maybe a kiss on the roof.”
