A Today.ng report has said that the National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ahmed Bola Tinubu was flown early on Friday to London for medical treatment.
The online newspaper alleges that sources close to the former governor of Lagos was flown out of the country in his private jet for treatment of an ailment which affects his posture, balance, and his movement, including his speech and writing.
“He has been manifesting symptoms of Parkinson disease which include tremor, shaky limbs, hands and fingers, slow movement, impaired posture and balance and loss of automatic movements,” said the aide.

Some youths acting on the basis of Northern Youth Forum donated N2m to President Goodluck Jonathan for him to buy the presidential form for the 2015 elections.
The move to support Jonathan’s desire for re-election was announced on Saturday, October 25, by Forum coordinator Engr Bello Bichi during Kano State rally, Punch reports.

With the forthcoming 2015 elections, the Edo state Governor Adams Oshiomhole has urged politicians to show support to those who emerge the candidate for the party.
Governor Oshiomhole gave this advice on Sunday, while addressing the All Progressive Congress, APC, supporters at a rally in Fugar, Etsako Central Local Government of the state.
Governor Oshiomhole said: “We must change the face of our politics and we must rebuild the future by laying good foundation”.

The Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, has said the current decline in crude oil prices globally presents some risks to the country.
Global oil prices are down around 25 per cent to $86 per barrel from $112 in June this year, putting pressure on oil-exporting countries, including Nigeria.
Emefiele, who spoke at the 2014 investiture of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria in Lagos on Saturday, however, said efforts were being made by the relevant authorities to ensure that the country remained strong and healthy.
He said the central bank would continue to build and maintain a healthy external reserves position by improving accretion to the reserves through fiscal buffers and continue to insist on fiscal discipline.
